Sooo…. I had some crazy dreams last night – as soon as I awoke I jumped online to see all of the programs we work with in Kenya… the answer – lots of them.
My background is in youth development – so any programs that work with children will definitely be of interest to me. There are programs that work with communities, conservation and more. The dolphin conservation program looks interesting, Colombus monkey research and more. Somehow I am going to have to clear my mind as I will have soo much to absorb.
The highlight for me is going to be the people that I meet. People who come from a very different place from me, geographically, politically, economically, spiritually and more.
I am also looking forward to understanding all of the similarities and differences.
